Description

For the Trifle

  • 1 loaf Pound Cake or Angel Food Cake (1012 cups), cubed – A soft, fluffy base that absorbs the creamy filling beautifully.

  • 2 cups Fresh Blueberries – Complete the patriotic look with juicy bursts of flavor.

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened – Creates a rich and creamy base.
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) Instant Cheesecake Pudding Mix – Adds cheesecake flavor and helps thicken the filling.
  • 1½ cups Cold Milk – Blends the pudding into a smooth mixture.
  • ¼ cup Powdered Sugar – Adds just the right amount of sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract – Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 8 ounces Whipped Topping, thawed – Makes the filling light and fluffy.

Optional Toppings

Instructions

  1. Wash, dry, and slice the strawberries.
  2. Wash and dry the blueberries.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the cold milk and cheesecake pudding mix; beat until thick.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  7. Cut the cake into 1-inch cubes.
  8. Layer cake cubes in the bottom of a trifle bowl.
  9. Spread cheesecake filling over the cake.
  10. Add a layer of strawberries and blueberries.
  11. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  12. Finish with cheesecake filling and decorate with fresh berries.
  13. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  14. Serve chilled and enjoy.
