Description

Honey Mustard Grilled Pork Chops are juicy, tender, and packed with sweet and tangy flavor from a delicious homemade honey mustard marinade. Perfect for summer BBQs, easy weeknight dinners, family cookouts, and backyard grilling, these pork chops develop a beautifully caramelized glaze while staying incredibly moist and flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Pork Chops

  • 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

For the Honey Mustard Marinade

  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Make the marinade: Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Marinate the pork chops: Place pork chops in a dish or zip-top bag. Pour in the marinade, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours).
  3. Preheat the grill: Heat grill to medium-high (about 400°F / 200°C) and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Remove excess marinade: Take pork chops out of the marinade, let excess drip off, and discard the used marinade.
  5. Grill the pork chops: Cook for 5–6 minutes per side, avoiding frequent flipping for better grill marks.
  6. Check doneness: Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Rest the meat: Transfer pork chops to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
  9. Serve: Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • Marinate for flavor: Let pork chops marinate at least 30 minutes for the best taste and tenderness.
  • Use a thermometer: Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for juicy results.
  • Let it rest: Resting for 5 minutes after grilling keeps the pork chops moist and flavorful.
