Instructions
- Divide cake batter into six colors, spread thin layers, bake, and cool completely.
- Cut small round dots (about 1 inch) from each colored layer.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare pans. Make vanilla batter by mixing dry ingredients, creaming butter and sugar, adding eggs, vanilla, and milk.
- Spread a thin layer of batter in pans, arrange colored dots, then cover with remaining batter and smooth.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, then cool in pans for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Make frosting by beating butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, cream, and salt until fluffy.
- Frost, layer, chill for 20 minutes, and finish decorating with sprinkles.
